two apple cocktails

Looking for festive flavors without the alcohol? Mocktails are the perfect way to celebrate, whether you're hosting a holiday party, enjoying a cozy night in, or simply want something refreshing and fun.

To help us with some festive ideas, we asked Amy Reuter, EvergreenHealth Signature Care Dietitian, to share two of her favorite mocktails she loves to make during this time of year.

Apple Cider Mocktail

Makes 2 (8 oz) drinks

2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
12 oz no-sugar added apple cider
4 oz ginger beer (8 tablespoons)
Ice

  1. Using the end of a wooden spoon or muddler, press the fresh ginger into the bottom of a large cocktail shaker or jar until ginger is fragrant. Add cider to the shaker or jar. Shake.
  2. Fill two glasses halfway with ice. Divide cider-ginger evenly among glasses. Top with 2oz (4 tablespoons) ginger beer.
  3. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and fresh apple slices and serve.
