Sesame Soy Dipping Sauce

Healthy Meals Made Easy

This recipe, from the dLife (Diabetes Life) website, is a great low-sugar swap for hoisin or other Asian sauces that can be syrupy and high in sugar. Try it with a fresh vegetable stir fry.

  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 4 medium garlic cloves, minced

In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Chill until ready to serve.

Makes 16 servings, 1 tablespoon each, with 14 calories.
